South Asians for Sustainability

Since 2020, Vibs has been working tirelessly to raise awareness and engage South Asian communities on the climate emergency, sustainable living and carbon conscious behaviour through the South Asians for Sustainability campaign. Launched in 2021, it aims to provide culturally relevant, easy to understand and practical content with a focus on events and festivals, religious and ancestral traditions and current environmental injustices.

With a prime focus on climate justice, she also highlights representation of South Asian professionals working within the industry and aims to empower students in pursuit of relevant careers through dialogue and discourse on the platform.
